With the sight of spring just around the corner and a few days of bright sunshine and blue skies I thought it time to put a spring into my crafting. So what better way than to use the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and matching stamp set. Here is one of the cards I made as a sample for the Papercraft Technique Class this past weekend – my class attendee’s all had a full 12×12 sheet of each design to play with in their kits!
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Painted Blooms Designer Series paper features a wealth of colours and I picked out Soft Sky, Rose Red and Wild Wasabi for this card.
- I stamped the trio of stems and flowers from the coordinating Painted Petals stamp set. This is one of the few sets in the catalogue that you can choose in Wood Mount, Clear Mount or Photopolymer – thanks Stampin’ Up! for the choice! If you want to learn the difference between the various stamp set types please see my guide All About Stampin’ Up! Stamps.
- The heart border is created with one of the framelits in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets set – I love lots of the additions in this set, perfect for sprucing up a simple treat bag or your handmade cards.
- Finally a simple bow with the Painted Blooms twine which comes in a coordinating trio of colours of Whisper White, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi to add a touch of texture.
All my ladies enjoying playing with these papers and were pleased to have plenty to take home too, so they could carry on creating. If you fancy purchasing this set of coordinating items (see links below) then don’t forget you can earn a Sale-a-bration freebie for every £45 spent.
